SNACKS If you ’ re a grazer or snacker , don ’ t worry . Disney World is rich in vegan snack options . The buttery popcorn you can buy with refillable popcorn buckets is vegan , and so are pretzels ( when ordered without the cheese ) and candied pecans found in snack stands throughout the park . Unlike the plant-based menus at restaurants , which can change rather frequently , the snacks tend to be consistent .
A SURPRISINGLY VEGAN DESSERT As a creamy , cool refreshment that offers relief on a hot day , DOLE Whip has been delighting guests at Disney World since 1984 , when it was called DOLE Pineapple Whip . Eating the dessert is now a tradition for many visitors every time they visit the park — and the dairy-free , fruit-based dessert is vegan ! Although pineapple was the original flavor , Disney now offers other vegan-friendly flavors , too .
VEGAN MICKEY-SHAPED WAFFLES Mickey-shaped Waffles ( or Mickey waffles for short !) are a fun , time-honored tradition at restaurants across Walt- Disney World , and vegans don ’ t have to sit this dish out . Plant-based Mickey waffles are served at the restaurants of most Disney Resort Hotels . At Magic Kingdom , vegans can get their Mickeyshaped Waffle fix at Crystal Palace , and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT serves them in addition to plant-based sausages and scrambles .

Whenever you see a drink that gets set ablaze tableside , it ’ s a solid bet you ’ re paying for presentation .

This is not the case with the burnt orange at Todd English ’ s bluezoo in the Walt Disney World Dolphin . While a far cry from a beach bar margarita , made with industrial sour mix and served in a plastic cup , this elegant orange cocktail includes refined variations of the same ingredients : Herradura silver tequila , brûléed oranges , agave , Grand Marnier , and orange juice . Once tableside , the server sets the topper , a sugar-crusted orange wedge , aflame .
The color of the flame — and in the drink itself — makes a stunning contrast to the shades of blue in bluezoo , and perhaps that ’ s by design — blue and orange sit opposite one another on the color wheel . But let the fire die ( or help it along by plunging the blazing orange into the drink ), and take your time sipping this delightful cocktail . Herradura ’ s silver , while not as silky as its reposado , still adds a sophisticated twist to the burnt orange , and bluezoo adds only a hint of Grand Marnier , keeping this drink from sending you into sugar shock .
This cocktail does well on its own , but if you need a nibble , the shrimp cocktail ’ s Bloody Mary cocktail sauce delivers a mild bite that pairs perfectly .
