Now, you’ll recall from earlier in the issue that the reasons for this rash of closures involved
making way for new experiences in the forthcoming Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land. But I
didn’t notice any additional Toy Story focus at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on my recent trip. Toy
Story Midway Mania and Toy Story meet and greets continue to operate as usual, but the real
push is on Star Wars.
Since the beginning of the month, a few new experiences have been added to the roster of the
park, including a Stormtrooper march led by Captain Phasma herself, and a stage show / video
presentation hybrid called A Galaxy Far Far Away (which if nothing else is a great change to see
Star Wars characters onstage in costume.)
For more fun, throughout the day you can spot Stormtroopers patrolling Animation Courtyard,
or visit Star Wars Launch Bay to see exhibits ro shop for exclusive souvenirs.
