1. Tell us a little about yourself. I grew up here in Williams County( Stryker) and have always enjoyed being part of a close-knit community. Outside of work, I love reading, spending time with my dog, tackling home improvement projects, and finding ways to stay organized. I became the
Silent Book Club: December 2nd at 5PM.
Administrative Assistant for the Williams County Public Library in March of 2025. 2. What do you enjoy about being the Administrative Assistant? I enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes work that helps the library system run smoothly. I also like that every day brings something different, whether it’ s helping with a new project or tackling an unexpected task that shows up. 3. What is a service that WCPL offers that you wish the community were more aware of? I think more people should know about our meeting spaces! They’ re available for individuals, community groups, businesses, and organizations to reserve, and it’ s a wonderful way for people to gather in a comfortable, accessible space. I help coordinate many of the reservations, so I love seeing how they’ re used by our community. 4. Favorite book? I’ m terrible at picking favorites! I usually gravitate toward psychological thrillers, romance, or whatever BookTok has convinced me to add to my ever growing TBR. Right now I’ m especially counting down the days until the ACOTAR Book 6 release in October! 5. Any upcoming WCPL programs you’ re looking forward to? I’ m looking forward to several of our upcoming events! Fandemonium on September 26th is always a fun event, and I’ m excited to see this year’ s activities. I’ m also looking forward to the ACOTAR inspired self-defense program on October 24th. And, as an avid reader, I can’ t forget to mention the West Unity Book Sale in August as it’ s a great opportunity to discover some amazing books to add to your shelf!
