Learn about the " Firebugs " an organized gang in Northwest Ohio who were arsonists from the late 19th to early 20th century, who would burn buildings for insurance money claims, while also setting“ revenge” fires.

Annual Fountain Grove Cemetery Tour, October 17th, 6:00PM
The tradition continues! Join WCPL Asst. Director, Denver Henderson as he leads you through the history, personalities, and unique tombstones of Fountain Grove Cemetery. This year’ s theme is“ Founders & Fighters”. Tour begins at 6:00pm at the mausoleum. No sign up required to attend. Note: This is a walking tour covering a large area of the cemetery; transportation and mobility devices will not be provided.
Bryan’ s Old Burial Ground, October 22nd, 6:00PM
At the time of Bryan ' s founding in 1840, the old burial ground was located on a hill west of Lynn Run. As the city began to expand, a new cemetery was established south of town in 1858 which is now Fountain Grove Cemetery. Upon this, the graves that were buried in the old were transferred to the new.
