Comic Strip Contest: Submissions Open!, Through September, During Open Hours
Create an original comic using our 4-panel comic template and let your imagination run wild. The contest is open to three age groups: 11 & Under, Ages 12-17, and 18 & Up. To enter, pick up a comic template at the circulation desk & submission form. Return your completed comic and entry form Sept. 1-18. All entries will be displayed for public voting from September 21 – 26, and winners will be notified on September 30.
Library NFL Pick’ em Challenge, September 8th-January 12th, Open to All Ages
Are you ready for some football? Join our season-long NFL Pick’ em Challenge at the library! September 1st through January 7th. Submit your picks Monday-Thursday at the library. Picks must be submitted before kickoff of the first game each Thursday. Earn 1 point for every correct team you pick. Get 1 raffle entry each week you participate. The patron with most correct picks by the end of the season wins a grand prize!
