Crafted Connections, August 13th, 3:00PM, Register Intuitive Energy Healing Series: Am I Intuitive?, August 31st, 6:00PM
Whether you already recognize your intuition or are simply curious to explore it, this introductory class will help you discover ways to strengthen your intuitive abilities. You ' ll learn practical techniques to enhance your intuitive senses and have the opportunity to test your skills through a variety of fun and interactive exercises. This is a 3-part series, and while each class offers valuable information on its own, participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three sessions to gain the greatest benefit, as each class builds upon the concepts introduced in the previous one. Guess Who? Winnie the Pooh Edition, August 3rd-28th, Monday through Friday During Open Hours
Can you guess who ' s hiding in the Hundred Acre Wood? We ' ll feature a different Winnie-the-Pooh character every week, with a brand-new clue revealed each day to help you solve the mystery. Know who it is? Visit the circulation desk and tell a librarian your guess! Every Friday, we ' ll reveal the mystery character and start a brand-new one the next week. Kids who guess correctly will earn a unique brag tag for each week!
Buzzing Bee Count, August 3rd-31st, Monday through Friday During Open Hours
The bees have escaped Pooh ' s honey tree. Can you help us count them? Search for all the busy bees hiding throughout the Children ' s Dept. and in Rachel ' s Garden. Once you ' ve counted them, share your guess with a librarian at the desk. If you guess right, or within 5 bees of the correct number, you ' ll earn a brag tag!

An Evening with Nicole Manahan, August 24th, 5:00PM
Nicole Manahan, a teacher from our own Bryan City Schools, has written her first book. The book titled " Love You Like Your Mine " reminds us that being able to have the pleasure of raising children is a true gift. You do not have to be there from the beginning of their lives to be their parent. Nicole will be reading her new release and sharing with us the story behind the book. She will have books available for purchase.
