This year saw a continuation of a developing Rugby culture in the school and a real resurgence in Girls Rugby. This could be attributed to the success of the Black Ferns 15’s winning the World Cup and the Black Ferns Sevens World Cup winners. Women's Rugby is now a pathway for our girls now that it has become professional, and about time.
My thanks to whanau coaches Ricky Taiaroa, Willie Scanlon and Jason Beamsley, and their respective management teams. Without your support and ‘awhi’ the many successes experienced this year would not have come to fruition.
Nga mihi atu kia koutou katoa.
