Either party may appeal in writing against the decision of the Disciplinary Committee within
21 days of being notified in which case the complaint shall be reheard by the General
Committee who shall deal with it, as they deem appropriate. No member of the Disciplinary
Committee shall attend the appeal. No party to the complaint may be a member of the
Disciplinary Committee or the General Committee hearing the complaint.
16. All equipment purchased out of Club funds shall be used in a careful manner, and the
General Committee shall reserve the right to make a charge for the repair or replacement of
equipment caused by misuse.
17. No person may be admitted to membership or admitted as a candidate for membership to
any application for membership and admission. The name and the address of any person
proposed for election must, for not less than two days before the e lection, be prominently
displayed in the Club Pavilion. The election of members shall be in the hands of the General
Committee.
18. Any member changing his place of residence shall notify the Honorary Secretary at the
earliest opportunity.
19. A copy of the rules of the Club shall be provided free of charge to all members on admission
to the Club. A copy of the rules shall also be displayed on the notice board in the Club’s
pavilion.
20. A fixture card shall be supplied to each member at the start of each season.
21. Rules of the conduct of net practice shall be laid down by the Selection Committee and
displayed on the Club notice board.

a. No alteration of these rules shall be made except by a two thirds majority of those
present and voting at a General Meeting of the Club.
b. Any member desiring to amend or rescind any rule shall give notice of such desire to
the Honorary Secretary at least 14 days prior to the Annual General Meeting.
c. Where an alteration is made to these rules the Honorary Secretary shall give written
notice of the alteration to the Chief Officer of Police for the area and to the Clerk of
the Local Authority. If such alteration embodies a change of Secretary or concerns
the Objects of the Club, notice shall also be given to the Clerk to the Justices. Such
notice shall be given within 28 days of the alteration and in such cases where notice
is given to the Justices within 42 days.
23. The property and funds of the Club cannot be used for the direct or indirect private benefit
of members other than as reasonably allowed by the Rules and all surplus income or profits
are reinvested in the club.
24. The Club may provide sporting and related social facilities, sporting equipment, coaching,
courses, insurance cover, medical treatment, away-match expenses, post match
refreshments and other ordinary benefits of Community Amateur Sports Clubs as provided
for in the Finance Act 2002.
25. The Club may also in connection with the sports purposes of the Club:
(a)
sell and supply food, drink and related sports clothing and equipment;
