I began my commercial insurance career over thirty years ago in Edmonton , Alberta , working with several of the largest brokerage houses in Canada .
I began as a commercial marketer , developing sound product knowledge and important carrier relationships , and then advanced to developing and handling commercial accounts as an account executive . During this time , I learned the importance of paying attention to my clients ’ challenges and their business strategies for determining the coverages they would need to protect their assets and for

I started in the insurance industry thirteen years ago at the Campbell River ( Willow Point ) office of Waypoint Insurance . I quickly realized how much I enjoyed helping people with their insurance and worked my way up from an after-school student to my current position as a commercial broker at our Campbell River ( Dogwood ) office . With sixteen branch offices , Waypoint has commercial experts in virtually every field which allows me to reach out to industry experts to help my clients get the best products . I enjoy learning about my clients ’ business ventures and am excited to be a part of the Campbell River business community , especially now as we see a resurgence of small- and medium-sized businesses looking to call Campbell River home .
