Willowbrook Mall was as crowded during the holiday shopping season decades
ago as it is now, but some things have changed. This photo was taken at
Bamberger’s Department Store; in 1986, the store’s name became Macy’s.
R.H. Macy & Co. purchased the Bamberger’s chain in 1929.
