ast food can be good food.
Delicious and healthy graband-go meals are being
prepared fresh daily by local
chefs at your favorite grocery
stores and delicatessens. Busy
families can save time with these nutritious dinner suggestions from Corrado’s
Market, Polski Smak Polish & American
Delicatessen and Jack’s Super Foodtown.
ASK THE CONCIERGE
According to store manager Jenna
Lamartino, CORRADO’S MARKET
(www.corradosmarket.com, 973-646-2199)
in Wayne offers a smorgasbord of flavorful
prepared meals. The store’s premade
Chicken Francaise goes well with a side of
pasta, while Chicken Parmesan could be
paired with spaghetti. Fully cooked meat
lasagna or gnocchi with grilled chicken
make mealtime a snap, as do any of
Corrado’s cold options for lighter meals,
including pre-made grilled chicken Caesar
salad and sandwich wraps.
Vodka, marinara and meat sauces made
by Corrado’s chef complement cooked
pasta served with fresh mozzarella, basil
and tomato slices or homemade bruschetta. Enjoy cooked shrimp, fresh or frozen,
by serving them over linguini and clam
sauce. Zesty barbecued chicken tenders
can be served with rice balls and grilled
vegetables sold by the pound in the deli
section.
Pork stuffed with spinach, roasted
peppers and fontina cheese is on the menu
alongside grilled salmon seasoned with dill.
