“Our patients love us. They love the whole staff. That’s something I
don’t take for granted and I’m very appreciative,” says Dr. Lori
VanderWende-Bleeker, formerly known as Lori VanderWende-Perrone.

A hometown girl, Dr. VanderWende-Bleeker got her first exposure to
dentistry as a dental assistant and went on to acquire a degree in dental
hygiene. Making a total commitment, she enrolled at UMDNJ, was
named as a member of Gamma Pi Delta, the prosthodontic honor society, and served as representative for the student New Jersey Dental
Association, prior to her 1997 graduation.
Practicing at her present location for more than 10 years,
VanderWende-Bleeker is a firm proponent of continuing education to
ensure that her patients receive the utmost comprehensive and
advanced dental treatment. That includes the recent acquisition of the
computerized CEREC equipment which enables the patient to receive
their crowns within one hour, thus eliminating the need for a second
appointment.
Such technology can be life-changing. Dr. VanderWende-Bleeker
says, “One of our patients was missing the front two teeth. I placed the
crowns and the person was so happy he started to cry. You can just
imagine, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.”
In addition to applying Cerec crowns, Dr. VanderWende-Bleeker’s
roster of services includes cleaning and examinations via digital X-rays,
the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, restorations,
implants, root canals, bridges, dentures, sedation dentistry and Zoom!
Teeth whitening.
Dr. VanderWende-Bleeker notes that many of her clients come
through patient referrals, and her accomplishments have often been
acknowledged in the media. She has been featured as one of America’s
Top Dentists consistently since 2003 and is currently recognized by The
Leading Physicians of the World/Doctors of Excellence. This prestigious
achievement is accepted by the International Association of Dentists
and inclusion is limited to individuals who have demonstrated leadership and achievement in the field.
