Waxhaw Menorah Lighting
Waxhaw hosted their annual Menorah Lighting
celebration in partnership with the Ballantyne
Jewish Center on Tuesday, December 4th. The
event had a wonderful turnout.
“The candles of Hanukkah bring illumination and
light into our lives,” Waxhaw Mayor Steve Maher
told the crowd. “By hosting this ceremony together
we also foster relationships, setting an example
and building community, that itself emanates a
light that is contagious.”
