Thank Your for your Support this past Year Jackie, Alex’s father, always built off road go carts, allowing Alex to drive a buggy for the first time just at 6 years old. Alex’s first off road vehicle was a go cart made from a lawn mower frame, roll bars, as well as an 8 HP Briggs. The best modification on this go cart was a string attached to the governor to act as nitrous when it was pulled. What 6 year old wouldn’t love that? When thinking of off roading “FUN!” is what Alex stated, was the one word that came to mind. “Its wild, crazy, dirty, fun and 90% of the people are the most friendly people you will ever meet”. Aside from his daughter, Lexi, Alex’s biggest accomplishment has been winning the Tough Truck Challenge in 2011. Following that win, Alex made a lot of new friends on facebook andevents. Playing in the restricted areas at some of the Off Road Park’s has been one of the biggest perks of that win. One day in the future Alex would like to build a rock bouncer to compete in the American Rock Crawling Series; maybe even winning one and getting a few sponsors along the way. In the mean time Alex is having fun playing off road with not only Frank, but, also his play toy, a 1985, ¾ ton Chevy with 35” Dick Cepek Crushers and his other Toy, the rail buggy running a 3.1 v6. to the left: Alex and Dad, Jackie, age 66 & Co-Driver, when they won the Tough Truck Challenge April 2014 21
