Kelly Young from Lisbon, OH has worked at 4Wheel Drive Hardware for 14 years. She bought her first Jeep in 2000 quickly adding a 3” lift and 33” tires. That was it, she was hooked on the Jeep bug. Attending many off-roading locations with her new toy, like Paragon Adventure Park, Jeep Jamborees, Superlift OffRoad Park until a Rep. from Advance Adapters gave her a set of tickets to a NEUROC rock crawling competition in 2004. After watching the stock modified class, she thought, this is something I can do. The Idea was born. Returning to 4WDH, pitching this idea to them for a sponsorship and they agreed. Several months of wrenching ensued until the Jeep was ready for competition. Many Thanks go out to her friends and family, without whom the Project would not have been completed. Her Rock Crawling career began with a WEROCK event in 2005, competing in many Rock Crawling events over the next 7 years.

In June of 2008, Kelly’ s Mother lost her battle with colon and liver cancer. Mom was her biggest fan, as well as, a big fan of the World of Rock Crawling and motorsports in general. Never missing any of her Daughter’ s events, until becoming Ill. Wanting to do something in Remembrance of her Mom, Kelly painted her competition Jeep pink to raise money for cancer research. Crawl to Cure Cancer was born.
Since that time and wanting to find more ways to raise awareness and funds to benefit Cancer research, ideas began to flow. Kelly, along with her team began to raise money throughout the year at various events such as Relay for Life, Bark for Life, the BRR for a Cure polar bear plunge, as well as Jeep shows and events. All money raised is donated to the American Cancer Society. They do this with the hopes that they can play a part in helping find a Cure for Cancer--something that has affected everyone
