The Washington County SPCA adoption facilty
and all of our community programs are not
operated or funded by any national humane
groups or governmental agencies; we rely
on shelter income and contributions to
bring our services to the community.
As an Open Admission shelter, we
accept every animal from Washington County
SPCA who is brought to our facility regardless
of age, health, behavior or special needs.

Over time, our cleaning products have corroded our old gate frames
and caused them to start falling apart. The large chain link used on
these gates is frequently shredded by dogs determined to escape.
We need funds to purchase new stainless welded wire gates for
the Impound Building. Last summer 8 gates were donated and installed. What a difference this made in the safety of the kennels for
the dogs! We
