HollisterStier weathered the downturn mainly by slowing its pace of growth.
Now, after some consolidation within the
industry, it’s emerging from the recession
“on a very steep growth curve,” said CEO
Marcelo Morales.
The company now employs about 600
people in Spokane, up about 50 percent in
head count since the acquisition.
Much of the growth has come at the
expense of its competitors. Thanks to the
resources of its global parent, as well as
some smart business decisions and a hardearned reputation for quality, the company
is capturing market share.
Last year, Jubilant HollisterStier grew
two- to three-times faster than the market.
