washington business From You to Us Your Support is Appreciated I would like to take this opportunity to tell you how much value the city of Gdynia places on the Business Week programs and the support the Association of Washington Business provides. There is no other program like this in Poland, and we are extremely pleased that each year another group of Gdynia youth may learn entrepreneurial thinking from our American friends. There are numerous benefits of the program, among others: education of our students and staff, engagement of business in civic life, new opportunities for trade and commerce, promotion of international cooperation and cross-cultural understanding. Your support of the Gdynia Business Week initiatives for the past four years has created a group of 400 students who look at business, the economy and most importantly their own lives from a creative and critical perspective. We highly appreciate your support of Business Week with your time and finances as well as the exceptional quality of the curriculum and the people you have chosen to deliver it. The program has undoubtedly made a difference in Gdynia. We thank you sincerely and would be happy to continue the relationship. Ewa Lowkiel, Deputy Mayor City of Gdynia, Poland Thank You for your Support As we prepare to start our trade mission to the U.S., we all want to take the time to thank you for all your support of the Washington segment of that mission. We are acutely aware of all you have done to help us be successful. We know this would not happen without you. Thank you sincerely from all of us here in Gdańsk. We would also like to report to you how well-received was the second Gdańsk Business Week program this August. We hope you are as proud of the performance of your people as we are grateful for their presence. The hard working company advisors and American students supported by the leadership of Janice Jaworski and her husband, Allen, were successful in giving us an experience that changed us all, students as well as adults. In particular it was remarkable to watch Janice as she anticipated and then solved problems before they created disruptions in our program. She allowed that amazing American spirit of accomplishment to show itself every day to our students. It was a powerful model for our students to observe. We consider her to be a special person for us and for the success of the program. Once more, you must be proud of such employees. We are ready to support a third Gdańsk Business Week next year and want you to know how much we believe in the program and all the people from the U.S. who make it happen.
