Sapient to release
internal assessment
capability
Sapient Global Markets will release
a score card assessment survey to
compliment the Data Management
Maturity (DMM) Assessment Survey

The score card assessment, coupled
with the DMM Assessment Survey,
will allow firms to closely examine
what needs improvement across their

data management and operational
initiatives, according to Kaimowitz.
He noted the score card assessment
is still in the development phase and
will not be fully defined until next year.
“Our hope is that the industry will
be able to utilize the survey to address
stakeholders’ concerns as well as operational inefficiencies to streamline
processes and increase productivity,”
said Kaimowitz in regards to the
scorecard assessments.
The sentiment-based DMM Assessment Survey will evaluate the data
management capabilities of capital
markets dealing in energy and tier
one through three investment banks,
Kaimowitz stated.
For firms wanting a DMM Assessment, staffers within the company
– from the junior to executive levels
– complete a survey evaluating data
quality, data management operations,
platform and architecture and strategy, Kaimowitz noted. Those results are
then fed into the DMM Assessment
survey for final results, he added.
