Walk of Globe 2 | Page 37

8:45 am

We finally arrive in Rome and start heading towards the Vatican.  It was quite magnificent being there with so little people. The last time we were there, the square was filled churchgoers since the Pope was speaking.  By the way, the whole day contained picturesque blue skies with barely any clouds.

While we were heading to the museum (houses the Sistine Chapel), we started running into tour guides offering us their services for a pretty steep price. Basically, it started at $100 euros and went down a little from there.

Because it was free to get in, the only way to enter quickly if you didn't have a reservation was to stand in line.
