2019 World Affairs Council of Harrisburg About Us: We are a non-partisan, non-political 501(c)3 organization part of the World Affairs Councils of America, headquartered in Washington, D.C. Dedicated to educating our community about the most pressing local, national and international issues of our day. We organize international travel and provide numerous opportunities for young people to learn about the world in the classroom, at our events, and through scholarships that allow them to visit countries around the globe.
