2019 World Affairs Council of Harrisburg
A Successful 2019:
This has been a great year of mentoring youth, engaging diverse voices in our
community and celebrating the multitudes of cultures that enrich our region. Our Great
Decisions program continues to be one of our anchor programs for dialogue on
international and national issues. And our summer youth internship and enrichment
program is the hallmark of our outreach in high schools and universities. We are helping
to engage Americans to become better informed, more tolerant and more connected to
the world. And through our youth programs, we are nurturing the next generation of
world leaders.

We thank all of our sponsors, associates, speakers and
attendees for making 2019 a successful year for our
mission to connect Pennsylvania’s capital region to the
world. We look forward to seeing you in 2020 when we
will celebrate our 10 th year of engaging people in our
region in better understanding their world – at home and
abroad.
