Reliance Industries led by dynamic
business leader Mukesh Ambani donated Rs.500
crore to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PM-
CARES Fund on top of the multi-crore initiative he
had announced to fight the COVID-19 crisis. “The
need of the hour is also for us to support our
marginalized and daily wage communities. Through
our meal distribution programme, we aim to feed
lakhs of people daily across the country,” added
Nita Ambani.
Actor Akshay Kumar announced
a donation of Rs.25 crore to Prime Minister
Narendra Modi’s PM- CARES Fund . He later
tweeted “This is that time when all that matters
in the lives of our people. And we need to do
anything and everything it takes. I pledge to
contribute Rs.25 crore from my savings to
Narendra Modi Ji’s PM-CARES Fund. Let’s save
lives, Jaan hai toh jahaan hai.”

Radhakishan Damani, donated Rs.100 crore to PM
Cares Fund to fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
He is the promoter of D-Mart retail chain operator
Avenue Supermarts. “Our Promoter, Radhakishan
Damani through his group company Bright Star
Investments Private Ltd donated Rs.100 crore towards
the PM-CARES Fund and a further Rs.55 crore to
various state relief funds,” the company statement
said.
