Alcyan: Hurt, physical or emotional or?
Alvise Cliassi: well, this lifestyle, as you can guess, can be pretty intense and it involves a lot of trust and commitment from both the roles. If you don't know the safety rules, you can run into problems and it can be nasty, even in SL. That's why we insist a lot on the rules of safety; it takes probably half of the time of the training, if a person is new.
In every place you can find good and bad persons, if you find the bad one, you have to be ready to defend yourself
Alcyan: what advise you give to a new sub that comes here to either discover her sub side or receive training
Alvise Cliassi: if we're talking about an SL sub who comes here (so we're talking about a really definite situation), I advise normally to come often, see how we pass our time, how we deal with each other, see if what she sees is what she desires, inform herself well about our training, and our rules and then, if still she thinks that this place is made for her, to apply for the training. Obviously, this advice is good for the Dominants as well; a lot of our activities are public
Alcyan: Marion, what does this place means to you?
Marion Fadlan: Austin is a community that I can call home, the training here has allowed me to gain knowledge but more important, it was a wonderful journey in self exploration. There have been times that I found it extremely difficult but in retrospective it was worth it. Since I got out stronger, more aware of my submission and more aware of what I need, I strengthened my bond with my Master
