Way of the Cross
The Way of the Cross will be celebrated every Friday evening during
Lent immediately following the 6 p.m. Mass. This traditional journey to
Calvary, using the texts from Holy Scripture, has been a consolation and
source of faith and grace to many. The Church grants to those who
participate in the Way of the Cross a plenary indulgence.

As we prepare for Easter, we must remind ourselves that the
forgiveness of sins is at the heart of why Christ died on the cross; so too the
Sacrament of Penance must be at the heart of our Lenten preparation.
In order to offer each one of you every opportunity to receive the
Sacrament of Reconciliation, the West Bank Deanery will hold Lenten Penance
Services on the following dates:
Visitation of Our Lady Wed., March 18th
Christ the King Wed., March 25th
Our Lady of Prompt Succor Wed., April 1st
At each of these services, multiple confessors will be available. All are
encouraged to attend one of these Lenten Penance Services to prepare your
heart and soul for the worthy celebration of Easter.
