Poem
By Carina Helander
I feel 3 when I fall down the stairs and burst in to tears.
I feel 4 when I can't reach the counter for the cookie jar.
I feel 6 when I blow out the candles before people finish singing
happy birthday.
I feel 7 when I accidentally call out "Mommy!" in front of my friends.
I feel 8 when I sneak into my momĀ“s cool silky bedsheets.
I feel 9 when I walk on the wrong side of the escalator.
I feel 13 when I go shopping alone with my friends.
I feel 15 when I go to a restaurant with a friend and we order all by ourselves.
I feel 3 when I fall down the stairs and burst into tears.
I feel 4 when I can't reach the counter for the cookie jar.
I feel 6 when I blow ou the candles before people finish singing happy birthday.
I feel 7 when I accidentally call out "Mommy!" in front of my friends.
I feel 8 when I sneak into my mom's cool silky bedsheets.
I feel 9 when I walk on the wrong side of the escalator.
I feel 13 when I go shopping alone with my friends.
I feel 15 when I go to a restaurant with a friend and we order all by ourselves.
