Flashes,
They fill the back of my mind,
Pouring out unwillingly,
I hear the voices around me,
They don’t fade for a mere moment,
They cause me pain and agony.
Never being able to sleep
Never forgetting,
They call to me,
They tell me their dreams and wishes,
To no longer be alone.
I will not give in.
I shall not give in.
I have not given in.
But they haunt me,
Day and night,
Never resting.
There is only one way to end madness of this kind,
To give in,
Fearfully and alone.
I press the cold metal to my head,
And the last thing I will ever see,
Flashes
