June 14, 1959. My squadron ships out for Vietnam today. We will meet up with the British 4Th Special Ops Corp. when we arrive. Then we´ll head up to the base for briefing then we go into action the next day.
June 15, 1959. Our first mission is today. 3:30am sharp we move out. "All right boys," saID our captain, "We are going to be infiltrating a top secret communist base in the north end of the red zone." So we moved out after briefing. On our way to the red zone, we got caught by a patrol in neutral territory. They opened fire. Luckily we got to cover in time and no one was injured. We opened fired and managed to overpower them. We headed a little bit further forward and set up camp.
June 16, 1959. We were almost to the red zone and everything was going as planned. “Today our goal is to secure a position in the red zone and scout ahead so we can prepare a plan. We pack up our camp and head out. Once we arrive in the red zone, we can tell the difference immediately. All of the buildings are destroyed," said Corporal Conners. We moved forward, after five hours of traveling and scouting we found a blockade. "Is there any way we can sneak around the blockade?" asked our sniper, Joe. "I don't think so, their blockade is too well thought out we would either be blown to bits or sniped," replied our tactical and navigational expert George. "We will have to fight our way through," I said. (I am the combats expert.) So we organized a plan to break the blockade. "Conners you go north to that ledge over there and take out the sniper, take Joe with you," "Lieutenant you go with George and take out the men around the blockade, I'll take care of the armour," I said. We moved out and the plan went perfectly, but then all of a sudden, Conners got hit in the leg trying to protect Joe while he was in the sniper's nest. After taking down the blockade, we decided to make camp.
