What is your favorite JCL memory ?
I remember my first NJCL convention was in Troy , Alabama in 2017 . I remember not knowing anyone as a rising 8th grader and being pretty nervous to talk to anyone as a result . On the long bus ride to Troy , I met Jack Purple ( 2019-2020 1 st VP ), and I ’ d say he was my first non-Flint Hill convention friend . Meeting him and subsequently playing a game of Catan with two other kids from Massachusetts was a great experience in my development as a Convention Goer and I look back on the memory fondly .
