Historian Chloe Schoenly
Editor Monet Shum
Salvete, amici! You already heard from me in the Editor's Note, but I am Monet Shum, your 2020-2021VJCL Editor. As Editor, I create three seasonal editions of the Forum, the VJCL's publication, in February, May, and October. This is a extra edition in addition to the other three :) . The Forum typically contains information on what the VJCL has done in the last few months as well as enriching articles and any contributions from VJCLers. My favorite part about the job is being able to reach out to the community through the production and genesis of these publications. In addition to creating these Fora, I have also aided my fellow officers in their endeavors as well.
Salvete Omnes! I’m the current 2020-2021 Historian, Chloe Schoenly. My office is aimed towards photography and art, such that I take pictures for the VJCL and also create artwork to put in the scrapbook. I also get asked to create videos for the VJCL and peopleas well. The most important part of this office is creating a scrapbook to be showcased at NJCL. It holds the memories of everyone in the VJCL this year. The scrapbooks from all the states are ranked Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, or Cum Laude. This year, my scrapbook won Summa Cum Laude, the highest award! I focused more on my art than anything else this year. More than anything else, I enjoy supporting my fellow officers on their day to day tasks, whether it be supporting their social media, creating random documents to be showcased at meetings, or editing another video for another person. I personally believe being the Historian is the best office there is, but that’s just coming from the Historian. (Editor's Note: Editor is the best office.)
