Since the winter VJCL board meeting in the capacity as Parliamentarian I have attended the NJCL Classicalia , helped with preparation for the VJCL NLE prep night , worked on both my officer and candidate guides , met with the other officers , and review , researched , and worked on proposals for our constitution and manual . I have a few proposals as far as the Constitution and Manual and have prepared the information for today ' s meeting .

Since the board meeting in winter , I have both published the winter publication of the Forum and started working on spring ’ s edition . I created some fun trivia and games on Latin culture , grammar , and history for both publications , just as I promised in my campaign in November as well as the winter meeting . My current focus is to continue researching interactive elements that I can incorporate into the spring Forum to maximize engagement and encourage further learning in the Classics , such as a QR code that leads viewers to a competitive online game . Whether I decide to program something myself or utilize an existing service , I am confident that the Forum would benefit from an interactive component which enables the reader to connect through more than just the words on the page . I am hoping that this will also help me get more activity from out-of-state organizations . My upcoming goals are to work with the other officers to acquire materials for the spring Forum and to eventually publish the Forum by early May . I ’ m excited to reach out to more Latin enthusiasts across the state and nation !
