WHAT ARE SOME COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT SKIN CARE? I see all sorts of interesting things. For example, a person might call and say they have poison ivy and they’re just miserable. When I look at them, they’ll have poison ivy but they have additional redness and peeling. They say, “Well, I put bleach on it to get rid of the poison ivy.” It’s an old wives’ tale someone told them. So they’ve made themselves 10 times worse by doing that.
