MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT SKIN CARE?
I see all sorts of interesting things. For example, a person
might call and say they have poison ivy and they’re just
miserable. When I look at them, they’ll have poison ivy
but they have additional redness and peeling. They say,
“Well, I put bleach on it to get rid of the poison ivy.” It’s
an old wives’ tale someone told them. So they’ve made
themselves 10 times worse by doing that.
Or, also with poison ivy, they’ll say that fluid from blisters
is causing their poison ivy to spread. It doesn’t happen
