80 million disabled people worldwide need a wheelchair ( World Health Organisation ). Most of these people don ’ t have the money or opportunity to buy one . Wheels for the World , an overseas project of Through the Roof , restores and distributes previouslyused wheelchairs to people in developing countries , giving disabled clients increased independence and demonstrating the love of God in a practical way .
