Visit the Salvador Tower (16:30-17:30)
In the afternoon we returned to the town centre to visit the mudéjar Salvador tower.
After watching a documentary video about the history of Teruel, we climbed up the bell-
tower itself. As we climbed the stairs we could clearly see the tower’s curious structure:
one tower built inside another and the materials used. Finally at the top we could enjoy the
magnificent view over the city. It was very interesting to learn about Teruel’s mudejar
heritage.
