Stepping inside Island Artists Gallery Cooperative, the warmth of creativity greets you, with the scent of wood and paint filling the air. You begin to wander, drawn in by the bright colors and intricate details of the pieces around you. What stands out most is the incredible range of artwork. It’ s not just the talent that makes this gallery special— it’ s the way the co-op brings together so many local artists under one roof. Island Artists Gallery Cooperative has been fostering creativity and community for decades. More than just a gallery, this artist-managed co-op serves as a collaborative space where local artists come together to create, inspire, and support one another— a reflection of the awe-inspiring environment that surrounds Sitka.
