President & CEO Kireem Swinton was appointed to the Destinations International Board of Directors, a 34-person body that provides vital leadership for member organizations around the world. Kireem also received the APEX Award for Distinguished Service from Black Meetings & Tourism, recognizing his outstanding contributions to travel and tourism.

Chief Marketing Officer Trish McClean presented at the City Nation Place America’ s conference in Vancouver, BC, speaking on a panel with PR agency DCI about Visit Baltimore’ s innovative efforts to activate place brands, specifically our mobile visitor center. Trish was also honored with the African American Tourism Council of Maryland’ s 2025 Best in Tourism Award.
The Maryland Daily Record named Senior Director of Government and Community Affairs Mia Blom one of the Top 100 Women of 2026. Honorees are selected for their leadership, community service and mentorship.
The PCMA Greater Midwest Chapter named Sherry Vale, Director of Midwest Sales, as the 2025 President’ s Award recipient. The award recognizes individuals whose leadership, creativity and dedication make a notable impact in their region.
