Partnering with industry-leading platform GuideGeek, we gave the new bot a Baltimore personality.“ Chessie” taps into the breadth and depth of content available on Baltimore. org to help travelers easily explore everything the city has to offer.

VISITOR CENTER
Visit Baltimore is proud to operate the Baltimore Visitor Center located in the Inner Harbor. A touchpoint for first impressions, tens of thousands of people walk through its doors each year.
Anchors Away – As travelers from around the world embarked to Baltimore for Sail250, the Visitor Center was selected to host a National Museum of the United States Navy exhibit celebrating 250 years of Naval history. The Visitor Center welcomed nearly 7,000 guests throughout Sail250.
Merry and Bright – During the winter season, the Visitor Center showcased the Holiday of Trees, which raised nearly $ 10,000 for the Kennedy Krieger Institute in 2025.
Supporting Local – Local businesses have the opportunity to pop up in the space, display collateral and sell their products. The team also partners with the Maryland Zoo to offer ADOPT stuffed animals that benefit conservation and care efforts.
History Come to Life – See a rotating display of notable African American historical figures on loan from the National Great Blacks In Wax Museum.
