I almost gave up so many times, but kept remembering that it could be the only chance I had to ride that feature. It was getting very frustrating, sometimes you work a lot to get everything lined up and the wind doesn’ t cooperate. That’ s what makes kite park riding so special. It’ s never good, until you have an epic day that makes all the other bad ones worth it. That put things into perspective for myself, we were out there far away from contests, tours and judging trying to make something special. All the work you put by finding the location, building the rails, getting the crew together and setting up a feature like that pays off when you come up with photos like this. In the end I only got about three hits on the feature, defiantly not what I was hoping for after waiting for a gust for so long but thats how it is sometimes. We ended up getting one okay shot so I was worth it. Park riding itself is already very hard make happen, when you’ re trying to get shots like this one where you only have a handful of opportunities
