and are the basis of a free society, and the EU protects these common values to ensure inclusion, tolerance, justice and solidarity among European citizens. The students also learned what it means to be a European citizen with rights, freedoms and protection through EU law.
In order to deepen and assess students ' knowledge about the EU, between 11 th and 15 th November 2024, we proposed a series of digital games created with the help of partners or on the ESEP platform, respecting the age and digital skills of the children. Using smartphones, tablets, interactive whiteboards, laptops or computers, students had access to over 50 games such as Puzzles, Memory Games, Choose / Sort / Match Correctly, Find... partners / flag etc., Anagrams, Labyrinths created using web tools such as Educaplay, JigsawPlanet, Jspuzzles, Wordwall, Learning Apps, Codycolour, Quizizz.
At the beginning of November 2024, the partners reported on their activities on the Code Week platform and received Certificates of Participation for both students and teachers. For the following week, depending on the age level, the students learned more geographical or historical information about Europe, the European Union, the countries that are part of the EU and new information about each one, but also about the fundamental values on which the European Union is based. The students also learned that these values are shared by all EU states
At the same time, during this period, we carried out a very attractive and motivating activity for students, a digital games championship. We created 2 digital games( preschool and school level) on the Educaplay platform in which Froggy the frog helped children test their awareness of each EU member country. On November 11 and 12, 2024, interested partners were able to register and solve the test, and on November 14, during an online event, Certificates from the founder and co-founder were awarded to all participants in the championship, approx. 83 % of all project partners: 47 preschool teachers + children, 20 primary school teachers + children.
