Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2025 Newsletter mentoring of teachers by guiding novice teachers in eTwinning, Code Week( 14 – 27 October 2024) and ErasmusDays( 14 – 19 October 2024) in recording, implementing and reporting these activities or participating in webinars and online courses on dedicated platforms.
The project started at the beginning of October 2024 and, after registering in the project, all partners uploaded presentations of their home countries and cities, as well as of their kindergartens / schools and groups / classes in specially created spaces. All these presentations were watched by children together with teachers who facilitated their access on the project ' s TwinSpace. Next, each partner in the project registered an event on the platform https:// www. erasmusdays. eu / and an activity on the platform https:// codeweek. eu /. On October 11, 2024, many of our partners participated in the Code Week launch event that officially kicked off two weeks of coding activities across the European continent from October 14 to 27, 2024.
During 14 th- 18 th October 2024, we all implemented events celebrating ErasmusDays through coding and robotics activities, art( drawing, painting, music, posters), language or online meetings. Some of the partners participated in the Code Week webinar: The Impact of AI on Programming Teaching( October 18, 2024). partners, we classified the robotics and programming activities into 4 categories: Coding with Arts and Crafts, Coding with Math and Science, Coding with Language and Coding with Physical education. We focused on unplugged activities( without the help of technology) using natural materials, sticks, markers, mazes, grids, colours, stories, Braille or Binary codes, but also activities in which we used programmable or inductive robots, beebots or other special web tools adapted to the age and digital skills of the students.
During these 2 weeks, the partners also had the opportunity to participate in 4 online meetings on October 17 and 24, both in the morning and after lunch, depending on each one ' s schedule and program.
A large part of the programming and coding activities proposed by the partners in this project were collected in the publication Coding & Robotics Activities Toolkit from the eTwinning project Code4EU available here https:// www. calameo. com / read / 0076557 61cda74bccee46
