CIRCUS- as Means to Learn Positive by Tațiana Staroste
CIRCUS is an eTwinning and Erasmus + KA220 Cooperation partnership in school education project which was born between partners that met on eTwinning platform.
Project objectives The main goal of the CIRCUS project is the active participation of all students and adults from the partner institutions. Our ambition is to enable them to identify their character strengths, strengthen their resilience, and learn how to apply positive pedagogy methods both at school and in their daily lives. We aim to nurture and develop the imagination of all participants, along with their artistic, physical, digital, linguistic, and social skills. We wish to bring joy and happy moments to the members of our institutions.
Activities implemented within the project The circus arena served as a stage to practise the desired skills. Participants designed and performed simple circus shows for one another( music, posters, tricks, stunts, etc.).
Each partner school organized a face-toface week during which partners met in person. Each partner school presented their school, city and country, created the school’ s project mascot, and proposed a design for the common project logo.
Expected results of the project The final product of the CIRCUS project will be the Handbook of Strengths. The circus performances and all other presentations will be recorded and shared online among the partners, as well as with a broader audience. Our parallel eTwinning project will further enable deeper cooperation and secure storage of the results.
