The celebration ended with cupcakes and the song“ Happy Birthday, eTwinning!”, sung enthusiastically in the language of each participating country.
Like the collective snowball story, the students also created together an anthem of friendship, using words as bridges between thoughts and emotions. The lyrics were composed collaboratively, inspired by their experiences in the project, reflecting the values of solidarity, diversity and unity. To bring them to life, the children used digital applications that allowed them to add melodic lines and harmonize voices. The end result was a vibrant and touching anthem, joyfully sung by pupils from all the partner schools, becoming a sonorous symbol of the bonds forged in this project. The anthem of friendship was presented to the public during the closing activities, reinforcing the sense of belonging and celebrating friendship without borders.
May brought a special celebration of 20 years of eTwinning. On May 9, pupils from the partner schools danced simultaneously in a unity flashmob, with each school filming the moment and contributing to a collaborative video full of energy and an online meeting. The event started with a parade of bilingual messages, in which pupils sent thoughts of appreciation to the eTwinning community. The end of the project was marked by an activity of democratic reflection: the election by vote of the most representative collaborative product and the realization of a newspaper, a video diary that synthesized the whole educational adventure. The project was completed by the realization of a methodological guide with ISBN, documenting the course of the activities and providing replicable models for other interested teachers and schools.
Through this approach, students had the opportunity to develop not only their civic and digital competences, but also their communication, collaboration and decision-making skills. Most of all, they learned to value diversity and to see it as
