collaboratively drew and designed posters depicting the perspectives on gender equality.
Life on Land activities focusing on the SDG 15, motivated students to deepen their understanding of the concept of sustainability for the planet’ s health and our future.
Students engaged with SDG 16( Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by exploring concepts of fairness, justice, and peaceful coexistence. Using their moral compass, they responded to thoughtprovoking statements and participated in respectful discussions. By sharing perspectives and actively listening to one another, students reflected on how to promote safety, inclusion, and stronger communities for all.
Aikaterini Rentzela is teaching English as a foreign language to students of level 2, at the 1 st Junior High School of Vari, Greece. She is interested in the use of multiple types of instructional material and tools, in the integration of ICT in teaching, in the cross curricular approach in teaching through eTwinning projects since students’ language learning is strengthened and enhanced through their collaboration with European partners.
Maria Goreti Alves is a Biology and Geology teacher, currently teaching at Agrupamento de Escolas de Vale do Tamel, Portugal. She has been an eTwinner since 2016, and an eTwinning ambassador since 2023. She loves involving students in eTwinning projects, motivating them to learn more about cross curricular topics.
This inspiring Young Heroes project was both engaging and meaningful, as students explored vital topics such as Human Rights and Sustainable Development. You can find a full summary of the project in the dedicated eBook.
