We, teachers, need solid training and support to guide the next generation of democratic citizens. Intercultural collaboration encourages mutual understanding, respect and active participation in democratic processes. The eTwinning event we participated in raised awareness of cultural diversity and the common European heritage, for a responsible and inclusive global citizenship. Teachers from all over Europe participated in this event, including colleagues from Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland, Finland, Slovenia and Ukraine, with whom we collaborated in developing an eTwinning project proposal on the seminar theme.
Participation in this seminar was made possible with the financial support received within the eTwinning Actions, through the National Agency for Community Programmes in the Field of Education and Vocational Training
