Carmen Sin is an English teacher in charge of the foreign languages department in her school, Liceul Teoretic de Informatică Alexandru Marghiloman in Buzău, Romania. She is also an Erasmus + coordinator, a project writer, a Scientix ambassador, and a methodist teacher.
International eTwinning Seminar in Helsinki by Aspazia Olar
Anniversary year 20 years of eTwinning at European level brings a lot of joy to our school. In March 2025 we had the privilege of participating in the seminar“ Engage, inspire, empower: Citizenship education through eTwinning”, this being the second international event of this kind in 15 years of activity on the eTwinning platform. Also, our school,“ Lațcu Vodă” Technical College Siret, was awarded the title of“ eTwinning School 2025-2026”. Since 2018, this title has been obtained by our school at every call. eTwinning schools are aware of the importance and values of the eTwinning program, integrating it into the school’ s policy, practices and professional development initiatives, with the help of the management team.
Between 20-22 March 2025, the seminar " Engage, inspire, empower: Citizenship education through eTwinning " was held in Helsinki, Finland. 4 Romanian eTwinners, teachers from technical and vocational education, participated in this seminar. They were selected following the National eTwinning Romania Call. The selected teachers were from Târgoviște, Timișoara, Hunedoara and Siret.
The objectives of the seminar were:
