Adriana Mariș is a Mathematics teacher at Liceul Teoretic“ Coriolan Brediceanu” in Lugoj, Romania. She has been an eTwinner since 2010 and an eTwinning ambassador since 2013.
The results were clear: students found math more approachable, meaningful, and fun. According to pre- and post-project questionnaires, more students reported increased confidence in their mathematical abilities and a better understanding of its relevance in real life. Additionally, improvements were observed in students ' overall academic performance, not just in math.
Both projects fostered a collaborative, creative, and inclusive learning environment. By integrating real-life applications, digital tools, and crossborder collaboration, students experienced mathematics in a new and exciting light. These projects stand as strong examples of how eTwinning can transform classroom learning and prepare students for a connected, digital world.
