Group mobility of students in Spain Our school sent 10 students to Escola Diocesana de Navas , where they improved their competence in clean water and sanitation and achieved our objective of learning outside the classroom . The mobility was focused mainly on Chemistry lessons and the students had the opportunity to identify and analyse four parametres of water quality : temperature , oxygen , cloudiness , pH and dissolved oxygen by following the Llobregat River from its springs to the Mediterranean Sea . However , they also learnt how to interpret topographic maps , made the connections between human-made structures and water facilities and understood what steps they could follow in order to preserve the water supply of our planet .
Group mobility of students in Romania The lessons were built so they answered the question How can I , as teenager , become a more sustainable consumer ? The final product was created using the PhotoVoice method which means a collaborative process for creating and sending a collective message through photos .
The participants investigated complex issues in the community , namely unsustainable consumption , so that learning was related to real-life situations . The workspace combined the formal space of the classroom with the extended space of the community ( restaurants , factories , shops , parks , museums ). The students focused on developing a concrete product in groups . The activities and tasks were diverse : documenting , exploring , debating , evaluating intermediate products . Finally , an exhibition was created and the students participated in a gallery walk to give feedback .
One important instrument which helped students document and keep track of their activities was the Mobility Lapbook , an interactive , creative and visual collection of learning tasks on the topic of SDG 12 .
