Netiquette and e-safety related pages have been created on TwinSpace . Netiquette rules have been posted so that everyone in the project was aware of them . Copyright was mentioned , as well as the rules for the use of different materials on the Internet in activities with students . Internet safety and the protection of students ' images were discussed . At project level , participation agreements were signed and posted on the dedicated TwinSpace page . At the school level , agreements are signed by parents to use pupils ' images for educational purposes . Although we take these measures , we do not post images of pupils ' faces , but edit them .
During the project the pupils worked individually , in groups or teams , even transnational groups . Students worked on their own for individual presentations , for creating a logo for the project , for recording messages for podcasts , writing Christmas greetings . They worked in teams or groups to write the story , create the poster , make the collaborative song , carry out practical activities to protect nature : greening the community , planting flowers in the school space , etc . The pedagogical approaches used were : reflective learning , direct method , behaviourist approach , cognitive approach , grammar
translation method , collaborative learning , structural approach , communicative teaching of English , task-based learning , audio-linguistic method . The most used approach was CLIL - elements and concepts from Geography and Biology were integrated into the English lessons .
The pedagogical methods used were : the project-based learning , the experiment , data analysis , the presentation , etc . The students were attracted by the topic of the project because it is of interest to them , and the fact that it took place online was even more attractive to them because they learned new applications that they could use in other subjects .
When it comes to curriculum integration , the project followed a multidisciplinary approach as activities from disciplines such as Geography , Biology , Science , English Language , Art , ICT , Counselling and Personal Development were integrated . Personally , I easily integrated the activities of the project into the subject I teach ( English ), as the language of the project was English , I integrated activities such as : creative writing , listening in English , oral communication ( recording messages for podcasts ) was also in English . In this way the students improved their vocabulary and grammatical structures .
We used ICT to carry out the activities with the help of technology , the pupils recorded and transmitted the audio messages , the poster and the digital book were created with the help of multimedia tools . In English classes they used the CLIL ( Content and language integrated learning ) approach using elements from subjects such as : Geography and Biology to teach students about environmental protection .
