Activities The students worked collaboratively in many activities in our project : presentations , creation and vote for the logo , a survey , netiquette , creation of a card game , calculating the environmental score and doing the evaluation . The students collaborated in the creation of the questions of the survey on our eating habits and to highlight the result of the survey , the students of the project but also other students from our schools and teachers from our schools answered to our survey .
To write the netiquette , the students shared what they thought and the rules to be respected and they put them together to establish a table with our rules to be respected , the students worked collaboratively on the Jamboard .
The students also discussed on the forum on several points .
Our card game
Our final production was the creation of a card game , under the form of a Cardline type card game . To produce this card game , we asked our students to take photos of the food they ate at home and to read the packaging and to discover where the food products came from . We created a common chart to give points to the different categories of food ( animal , vegetable , transformed product , organic ) and their packaging ( plastic , glass , cardboard , none ) and the distance from the place of production to the place bought . So , we all used this chart , and the final environmental score was added to the photo .
International teams decided to choose different food and they created the same pattern of cards which were compiled in a shared document in a Digipad . We used Canva to create the pattern of the card game . To highlight the work our students , the card game was edited by the French team and then sent to all the partners so that everyone can play in their countries .
The teachers trained their students to work with the TwinSpace when it was accessible . We have always facilitated the work and accentuated our students ‘ autonomy , for the web tools , tutorials were made to learn how to use the different web tools .
The project fit perfectly into our school plans and in our dynamic to meet the objectives of eTwinning schools . This project has enabled our students to consolidate their reading , expression , writing in French , artistic , environmental , IT skills . They had to learn to organize their thoughts by carrying out research and to compare information by reformulating the information discovered on the various topics covered and to find the place of origin of food . All this led our students
